Takis® Back-to-School Recycling Challenge
Recycle Takis snack packaging for a chance to win HOT prizes!
This back-to-school season, you can win big! Ship in the Takis® Snacks Free Recycling Program between August 19, 2024 and November 18, 2024 and earn 100 bonus TerraCycle Recycling Rewards points and a chance to win some INTENSE prizes!
The three schools that recycle the most will win a garden bed, a compost bin, and two recycled flower planters made out of recycled material we’ve recycled together, plus five Takis® x TerraCycle collection boxes to help schools recycle even more. The top school will win an in-person Takis celebration, complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and Takis® truck, to commemorate the accomplishment!
But that’s not all…30 lucky individuals will be randomly selected to win Takis® prize packs filled with Takis® swag, like backpacks, pencil cases, friendship bracelets, and more! Click here to view the official challenge rules.
How it works
It’s free and easy to participate this back-to-school season!
1. Sign up for a free TerraCycle account. If you're a school, make sure to choose a school option when filling in your organization type.
2. Join the Takis® Snacks Free Recycling Program.
3. Save up your Takis snack bags until you have a full box.
4. Download a free shipping label and ship your trash back to us for recycling!
Schools: Place boxes and the program flyer in the lunchroom, classroom, and near vending machines to help collect and recycle Takis® snack packaging, and spread the word to students, parents, and families to save them up at school and at home so you can make the top three!
Not a school? Ship your Takis® snack packaging to TerraCycle for your chance to win a prize pack. Know a student whose school recycles with TerraCycle? Send them in with your Takis packaging to help their school win! Does the school in your life still need to sign up? Send them here to get started.
