How it works
We’ve made getting started with the Warhammer Free Recycling Programme easy! Find a participating store near you and simply drop off your empty paint pots, sprues and miniatures in a branded collection bin there. A location administrator will send them to us, and we’ll recycle them.

Yes, this national recycling programme is brand-specific, which means you can only recycle Warhammer sprues and miniatures and empty Citadel paint pots.
Warhammer has sponsored this national recycling programme, so there is no direct cost to you.
No, you do not need to clean the packaging before dropping it off, but please remove as much of the remaining product as possible. Filled paint pots will NOT be accepted.
Discover Our Recycling Process
Once collected, the Warhammer paint pots, sprues and miniatures are consolidated at our warehouse until we have sufficient volume before sending them for processing. The material is then shredded/washed/dried and separated by material type. The materials are then extruded to pellets that manufacturers use to make new products.

We've partnered with TerraCycle at selected UK Warhammer stores as part of a trial to provide hobbyists with a free and simple means to recycle their old sprues, paint pots, and even unwanted plastic miniatures. This helps to avoid the impacts associated with landfill or incineration, which is often where these items end up if they are disposed of through local kerbside recycling schemes.
