THIS PROGRAMME IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD AND NOT ACCEPTING NEW SIGN-UPS FOR THE TIME BEING.
Rest assured, we are actively working with Aldi to discuss our ability to resume the programme.
-----------------------------------------------------
Aldi has partnered with TerraCycle so households and individuals can recycle all brands of empty medicine blister packs for free. Simply follow the steps below to send in your empty blister packs in an envelope, and we’ll recycle them!
Create a TerraCycle account - if you don’t already have one - and select from the drop-down list either the household or individual option depending on which one you are.
Join the Aldi Blister Pack Envelope Recycling Programme.
Download your prepaid shipping label (2 labels per TerraCycle account per month maximum).
Once you have downloaded and printed your shipping label, stick it on an envelope you have at home (maximum size of envelopes: C4 = 324mm x 229mm).
Fill your envelope with a maximum of 30 medicine blister packs.
Place your full envelope in a Royal Mail postbox to send it to TerraCycle for recycling.
That means you can send us up to 60 empty medicine blister packs every month!
Please note this programme is subject to availability.
TerraCycle reserves the right to remove from the programme any collector who fails to comply with the rules indicated on this programme page.

You can request up to 2 labels per TerraCycle account per month, which means you can send us two envelopes full of blister packs every month.
Please note you won’t be able to download new labels until the previous ones downloaded have been used and shipments have been received and checked-in at our warehouse.
No, empty medicine blister packs must be sent to us in envelopes only, with a maximum size of C4 = 324mm x 229mm.
Envelopes must be sourced by yourself - they won't be provided by TerraCycle or Aldi.
You can fill your envelope with a maximum of 30 empty medicine blister packs.
That means you can send us up to 60 empty medicine blister packs every month.
Due to resource constraints, the programme infrastructure cannot accommodate large quantities of blister packs and does not accept bulk recycling. So we ask that you recycle blister packs from your household only to make sure there is a fair spread across the UK and allow everyone to recycle at home.
You will be able to send in 2 envelopes of 30 blister packs monthly (meaning a total of 60 blister packs monthly) whilst stocks last.
Once collected, the blister packs are cleaned and separated by material type. The materials are recycled into raw formats that manufacturers use to make new products.
