Please note that volunteer administrators (not TerraCycle) manage drop-off points. The administrators choose the location, hours, and accepted waste streams. Please contact the administrator if you have questions about or suggestions for a specific drop-off location.
Let us know if you find a location that is no longer active by emailing us at mapupdates@terracycle.com.
*Locations limited to 50 program participants.

It’s quite simple to set up and manage a drop-off point, and you can recruit a group of friends to help!
Set Up:
Manage:
Promote: Spread awareness about your location (as you see fit) to encourage participation.
Allocate: As you accumulate TerraCycle recycling rewards, choose which charities will receive donations from your points.
There are no direct costs to you for running a public drop-off point. Many collectors spend nothing other than their time. You may choose to purchase specific boxes or bins for your drop-off location, but you can also just use extra boxes you have at home.
Public spaces that have good traffic flow and are easily accessible are excellent drop-off points. Stores, community centers, places of worship, and libraries are great options.
You choose which TerraCycle free recycling programs your drop-off point will participate in. Collectors can drop off only the waste accepted in those TerraCycle programs.

Brita® encourages you to redeem your points towards Water First. Water First helps address water challenges in Indigenous communities in Canada through education, training, and meaningful collaboration. It is just one part of a solution to the water crisis facing many Indigenous communities.
Once collected, the Brita® products and packaging are cleaned and separated by material type. The materials are recycled into raw formats that manufacturers use to make new products. Click here to take a virtual tour of our processing facilities.
By drinking filtered water, we can reduce the amount of plastic bottles that ends up in landfills and oceans. In fact, every Brita® filter used means 300 standard 16.9 oz plastic bottles saved. And if that's not enough, Brita® has teamed up with TerraCycle to recycle their already eco-friendly products and packaging.
Don't forget to sign up for a filter reminder to make it easy to keep your filters fresh and water-tasting great.
