How it works
TerraCycle Zero Waste Boxes allow you to recycle almost every type of waste. Simply follow the steps below to recycle your waste with us and make a positive impact on our planet.
What happens to the waste?
The collected waste is mechanically and/or manually separated into metals and plastics. Metals are melted for so they may be recycled. The plastics undergo extrusion and pelletization to be molded into new recycled plastic products.
Accepted waste
Coffee and tea accessories including coffee canisters, frothing pitchers, coffee measures, disc carousels, filters, carafes, non-electrical grinders, coffee presses, decanters, tea tools, coffee pods, tea pods, tea pots, non-electrical tea makers, tea strainers, cleaning brushes, used tea bags, accompanied tea bag wrappers and packaging.
Please do NOT...
include any electronics like coffee makers. Also, do not include organics like food or coffee grounds. We will also not accept household hazardous waste such as lithium ion batteries, pressurized canisters, pesticides, paint or medical sharps.
