How it works
TerraCycle Zero Waste Boxes allow you to recycle almost every type of waste. Simply follow the steps below to recycle your waste with us and make a positive impact on our planet.
What happens to the waste?
The collected waste is mechanically and/or manually separated into metals and plastics. Metals are melted for so they may be recycled. The plastics undergo extrusion and pelletization to be molded into new recycled plastic products.
Accepted waste
Garden products ranging from ornaments and planter pots to empty garden packaging including lawn decorations, solar bells, sprinklers, weeders, planters and pots (plastic, ceramic, terracotta) and garden product packaging like soil bags, stone bags, mulch bags, seed bags,or sand bags.
Please do NOT...
include household hazardous waste such as batteries, pressurized canisters, pesticides, paint or medical sharps.
Best practices for recycling
In order to recycle this waste stream properly, please make sure all excess product has been removed.
