The program does not accept:
Outer cardboard packaging can be recycled with your local council, so please don’t include this in your shipment to TerraCycle.
For hair care waste you do not need to wash your products or packaging, however we do ask that they are completely dry before sending to TerraCycle.
For hair colour please read through this check list before shipping your waste.
We encourage you to ship when your box is full of rubbish to minimise the footprint of this program. Australia Post will not accept dripping packages, so please make sure your items are dry.

Once collected, the hair care & colour packaging is broken down and separated by material. Plastics are cleaned and pelletised to be recycled into new products, and metal materials are sent for smelting and conversion to new alloys.
