We’ve made getting started with the Walmart Blue Bag Free Recycling Program easy! Simply download a free shipping label to ship your Walmart reusable blue bags to TerraCycle, and we’ll recycle them. Enrollment limits apply. If the program is full, you will be added to a waitlist.

Walmart reusable blue bags
Yes, this free recycling program is brand-specific, which means you can only recycle the reusable Walmart Blue Bags.
Walmart has sponsored this free recycling program, so there is no direct cost to you.
We encourage you to ship when your box is full of Walmart reusable blue bags. UPS will not accept dripping packages, so please make sure your items are dry.
No, you do not need to clean the blue bags, but please remove any order/delivery stickers that may be on the bag before sending them in.
TerraCycle will sort the bags depending on their condition. Intact bags (including bags that are soiled or stained) are sent to be laundered for reuse. Bags that are damaged (rips, holes, and tears) are recycled.
Laundered bags will be donated to Food Banks Canada for use in their pantries and programs.
Damaged bags are recycled into raw formats that manufacturers use to make new products, such as plastic shipping pallets, outdoor furniture, and more.
