Start a TerraCycle drop-off point

You or your group can be a recycling hero for your community! Volunteer to start your own TerraCycle drop-off point to recycle the unrecyclable—trash that’s not typically accepted by local recycling services. We guarantee we recycle all accepted waste!

It’s easy (and free!), and you can make a big difference. Sending larger shipments of hard-to-recycle trash is better for the planet, plus you’ll get rewarded with TerraCycle Recycling Rewards points.

As a TerraCycle drop-off point administrator, you or your group will handle the following:

  1. Choosing a drop-off location to recycle hard-to-recycle trash for your community members.
  2. Joining eligible TerraCycle free recycling programs.
  3. Setting up a collection area and keeping an eye on it.
  4. Sending hard-to-recycle trash to TerraCycle for recycling. Shipping is prepaid by TerraCycle.

Highlight your location on our map

There are two simple options for starting a TerraCycle public drop-off point: listed or unlisted. One difference between the options is whether or not your location will be included on TerraCycle’s drop-off map. The other difference is the programs you can join.
