Create a TerraCycle account here. Please make sure to sign up as either primary school or secondary school under ‘Organisation type’.
By recycling with us, you’ll not only empower future generations to take action but also help your community keep their hard-to-recycle rubbish from landfills. And at no cost to you!
You’ll also raise funds for your school when you send us your rubbish.
To join a free recycling programme, visit the programme page and click ‘Join for free’ or ‘Join as a drop-off point’. You can join as many programmes as you’d like!
We’re also giving additional TerraCycle points for a selection of programmes - you can find them here.
Yes, you can set up multiple drop-off points at the same school (e.g. reception, break rooms, classrooms) under the same account.
If you are a school and the programme you would like to sign up for only has the option to sign up as a public drop-off point and you’d like to be a private collector (your school location won’t appear on our map), please contact our customer support team and we will be happy to help.
For each valid shipment you send in through our free recycling programmes, you will get TerraCycle points redeemable as monetary donations for your school.
To receive TerraCycle points, you must meet the minimum shipment requirements for the programme and only ship the accepted items. Each free recycling programme has different requirements that can be found under “Earn Recycling Rewards” on the programme page or in the participation guide.
No, we request that you send separate shipments for each recycling programme. Don’t mix the accepted items of different programmes!
Brands and retailers fund our free recycling programmes, so you pay nothing to participate. The brands specify which type of rubbish is accepted by their programmes.
TerraCycle points can be redeemed for a donation of €0.01 per point. Please note that you must redeem a minimum of 2,000 TerraCycle points (€20).
If you sign up to TerraCycle, we’ll give you a bonus of 500 TerraCycle points (€5). If you already have a TerraCycle account, you can get the bonus 500 points by joining one of the participating programmes.

Search our charity database, choose your school, and click redeem to donate your points.
We have two payment periods per year. If you redeem by the end of April, you will be paid in June. If you redeem by the end of October, you will be paid in January.
