The programme focus on the twin aims of planting trees to offset carbon and providing Environmental Education to the communities who help plant them. The trees must provide a specific benefit or benefits to the local population such as food, shade, prevention of desertification, erosion or flooding for example.
We work with local schools so it is the children who benefit the most and grow up appreciating the services those trees have provided.
