How it works

We’ve made getting started with the Ethical Bean Coffee Free Recycling Program easy! Simply download a free shipping label to ship all brands of flexible coffee bags to TerraCycle, and we’ll recycle them. Enrollment limits apply. If the program is full, you will be added to a waitlist.

Collect

Create a TerraCycle account and join this program. Then reuse any box you have to start collecting all brands of flexible coffee bags.

Print free label

When your box is full, sign-in to your TerraCycle account to download and print a prepaid shipping label.

Ship

Seal your box, affix the prepaid shipping label, and send it to us to be recycled.

No, the Ethical Bean Coffee Recycling Program accepts flexible coffee bags from all brands.

NOTE: Please do not send in coffee pods. Some pods, including Ethical Bean Coffee pods, are 100% biodegradable. They are fully compostable and do not require recycling.

Ethical Bean has sponsored this national recycling program, so there is no direct cost to you.

We encourage you to ship when your box is full of all brands of flexible coffee bags to minimize the transportation carbon footprint for this program. UPS will not accept dripping packages, so please make sure your items are dry.

No, you do not need to clean the packaging before dropping it off, but please remove as much of the remaining product as possible before shipping.

Earn TerraCycle points by recycling with us! You can redeem your points in the form of a donation to a school, charity, or nonprofit of your choice.
