Can’t find a public drop-off point near you? Your community needs you! Volunteer administrators are what make TerraCycle public drop-off points possible. It’s easy and free to start your own. Plus you’ll get all the TerraCycle points for the trash you send in, which you can redeem as a cash donation to the school, charity, or nonprofit of your choice.
TerraCycle’s R&D department analyzes materials to determine the right way to process them into something new. When a waste shipment arrives at one of our Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs), we scan it to record the shipment information, date, weight, and material it contains. Once inspected and sorted by category, the various material types are sent to third-party partners to recycle all accepted waste. Your trash becomes new products like outdoor furniture, plastic pellets, tubing for construction applications, playground surface covers, and more! Learn more about TerraCycle’s recycling process.
